Sometimes the best sessions happen when you don’t reschedule. This family photo session at Green Acres Farm Memorial Park in Flower Mound, TX was the perfect example! After days of rain, the morning started off cool and foggy — and I’m so glad we decided to stick with it. The fog created the most incredible atmosphere, turning the open fields and trees into a dreamy, almost cinematic backdrop.

The family was completely on board and embraced the moody fall vibe. We explored the park, played with the light, and made the most of the soft, misty tones the morning gave us. The kids were troopers (and total naturals in front of the camera), and as you can see below, the photos turned out beautifully.

That’s one of the things I love most about outdoor photography — every session has its own personality. Even unexpected weather can turn into something truly special when everyone leans into it.
