Fall Family Photos at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve | Plano, TX Family Photographer

Fall is here, and so is one of my favorite times of the year for family photos!  This session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, TX was the perfect way to kick off the season.

This beautiful family has become such a joy to photograph. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing them four times now, and it’s truly special to watch their family grow and see how much the kids change with each passing year. That’s the heart of family photography—documenting those subtle changes and big milestones that make every season of life meaningful.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve gave us the perfect fall backdrop with its golden light, open fields, and natural trails. Even with the Texas sunshine, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of laughter. The kids ran, played, and shared those genuine smiles that make every photo session unforgettable.

As a Plano and DFW family photographer, I can say without a doubt—fall is the best time for family portraits. The colors are gorgeous, the weather (usually!) cooperates, and the light is absolutely dreamy.
